Hi, I’ve been a writer my whole life. I even made money at writing for a while when I worked as a technical writer. Today, I’m struggling to get back into writing after a long layoff. This blog is about that struggle as I work to become every bit of me I can be.
In my day job, I am the lead engineer in the Space Shuttle Flight Operations Safety group at a NASA contractor in Houston. As you might guess, my first love is science fiction and I have published a couple of short stories in the field. I’m currently working on a novel, though I’m also hoping in 2010 to return to writing short stories I love so much. I also do a fair amount of blogging as you can see if you wander around this site and I’ve been known to spit out some poetry, though I haven’t done that in a long time.
